The stock and services of the library are mainly aimed at professionals and postgraduate students. However, membership is open to everyone. The stock consists of the latest books on a range of subjects including management, information technology, English language and literature, fiction and general topics. Disciplines like environment, law, engineering, medicine and economics are well represented. The library subscribes to over ninety British periodicals and newspapers. There are about 400 education and training videos which can be used for education and in house training purposes as well as 2000 home videos which are suitable for family entertainment. The library has a children's section with books, CD ROMs, videos and multimedia. The following categories of membership are available :

To join the library, all you need to do is to fill in the application form and visit the library with some identification such as identity card, passport, voter's ID card, driving licence etc For further enquiries please email delhi.library@in.britishcouncil.org.
